A Dream Come True! GRAND OPENING MARCH 1, 2012

Well my blog & shop are not quite ready but I'm so excited about my shop opening I just couldn't wait to let you know all about my dream come true!

After dreaming about opening my own little boutique for at least 20 years, well actually more but I don't want to date myself, I'm finally doing it and I couldn't be more thrilled, excited, nervous etc. etc. etc. I'm still in the renovation process so here are some "before" pics. Check back soon to see a delightful difference in the "after" pics.

la TaDa! vintage boutique & creative studio, located on main street in Coaldale, Alberta is an inspiring place to shop and carries a variety of decorating styles including my personal faves Scandinavian, farmhouse glam, pretty primitive, country cottage and of course shabby chic. I am pleased to be offering vintage finds, home decor, gift-ware, jewelry, aromatherapy, lovely books & magazines for your home, garden & life! You will also find one of a kind handmade creations, unique & interesting repurposed pieces, art & handcrafted goods created by myself and other artisans. I love to support local artists & businesses, helping to keep employment here in North America so if you're an artisan looking for a venue to showcase your creations please ring me at 403-393-1525 or email me.

Do you have any tired, old furniture, decor, or vintage pieces that you still love but they need to be gussied up? la TaDa! offers repurposing & restyling services to give the out dated or boring new life and style. I will also be taking antiques/collectibles on consignment so please get in touch with me if you're interested.

I'm super excited to announce that I will be carrying the fabulous Annie Sloan Chalk Paints, an amazing product that can do in one step what usually takes three. Non-toxic, great coverage and a range of beautiful colours, it is a wonderful new tool I am so pleased to share with you.  la TaDa! will be having the first of many Annie Sloan workshops with the lovely Tara Lauren from Lauren Lane Decor who loves do-it-yourself and has a passion for bringing old furniture/treasures back to life. She has a wealth of knowledge to share with us at the workshop. Classes are from 10am to 5pm and include materials & lunch.  The first workshop is planned for Saturday, March 3rd.

See you at the grand opening Thursday, March 1st, 2012. Hours are Tuesday to Saturday 11am to 6pm.

Imagine, Create, Believe!
